Join our Journey

As one of the first Business Development Automation specialists at Nominal, you will play a key role in helping us build a sales and revenue generation machine, setting the stage for our next growth phase. You will also be involved in go-to-market strategy and laying the foundation for a robust sales team and client base. 

In this role, you will have the freedom to experiment rapidly, iterate on new ideas, and leverage cutting-edge tools to find what truly works. You’ll collaborate closely with our sales and marketing teams to shape our outbound campaigns, refine our messaging, and explore untapped channels for growth. By joining our early-stage team, you’ll have an outsized impact on Nominal’s trajectory and set the standard for future growth and revenue operations.

Responsibilities and Impact

  • Prospect and generate high-quality leads through strategic outreach across multiple channels (email, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to develop targeted campaigns, refine messaging, and optimize the go-to-market strategy.
  • Build and execute growth email and LinkedIn campaigns using prospecting signals, automation tools, and data-driven insights.
  • Experiment with various growth tactics, quickly identify what drives results, and iterate on successful approaches.
  • Continuously analyze and report on lead quality, campaign performance, and conversion metrics to inform and enhance our overall revenue strategy.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a sales or startup environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Clay (or similar) for list building - a must
  • Familiarity and experience with LinkedIn outreach and automation tools - a must
  • Proven track record running cold email outreach campaigns (e.g. Instantly, Smartlead, or similar).
  • Ability to automate processes and systems for efficient prospecting and outreach.
  • Tech-savvy and highly responsive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data-oriented, with the ability to analyze campaign performance and pivot based on insights.

Preffered qualifications

  • More than 1 year of dedicated growth experience, particularly leveraging Clay for campaign building.
  • Experience with cold calling and phone-based outreach.
  • Background in accounting, economics, or finance (or equivalent professional experience).
